The Taste
of San Felipe
This year over 400 people savored a variety of dishes
offered by the 3rd Annual
Taste of San Felipe. The $15 tickets
provided each person with a wristband and a map to a fraternity
of participating restaraunts.
Over 20 restaurants provided samples of their finest
cuisines as groups of friends and family walked the Malecon
and neighboring streets tasting mouthwatering Mexican
food. One of the favorites was The New Greenhouse
which received excellent reviews and served mole which
contained 32 different ingredients. A variety of tastes
were experienced, ranging from pasta at Langusto Rojo
to chocolate and other baked goods at Tattooed Rose
Cafe and of course an abundance of seafood.
Some say this was the best year yet. For those of you
who missed this year’s event, be sure to mark your
calender for next year. This is an enjoyable event for
both those serving and being served. One you won't want
to miss!
