I know some people only have 180 day Tourist Visas. Some out there have FM3s, some have FM2s, and some have none, nada, zippo. In Mexico everything is flavor of the month, depending on the mood of the moment at the Immigration Office.
I've been kicking it around that maybe I should only do the Tourist Visa and dump the FM3, helluva lot cheaper. Checking in and out at the border is just a pain the a-- though, but, then next week they'll demand an FM3 if you have property. Ain't livin in the Baja an adventure and a half? Jorge

Who & how many check in & out at the border everytime they go thru? We sure don't!

There really isn't a place to do it at the West border exit and we did it once at the East border crossing and said, never again.
