Shadetree
Computer Services opened its doors in April,
2002 and has been helping San Felipe with its computer
problems ever since. Shadetree offers a variety of services,
including repairs, upgrades, Internet Access for your
laptop (wireless or cabled), virus repair, digital photography,
scanning and web page design.
Randy Kerr, owner of Shadetree Computers,
has been involved with computer repairs, graphics and
web page design for a number of years. He first came
to San Felipe in 1985. Since then the area has been
his preferred place of residence, with an occasional
summer trip back to Canada for a required infusion of
the color green.
Located in downtown San Felipe near
the beach, Shadetree Computer Services shares a second
floor deck with Baja
Java, a popular local cafe, and
The
San Felipe Title Company, one of
the best bookstores on the peninsula for used and new
selections. A cup of coffee, Internet Access and a good
book to read --all in one location. Tough to beat.
One of the services Shadetree Computers
offers is E-Postcards.
A large selection of local scenes is available. The
customer is photographed using a digital camera and
their image is then carefully cut and inserted into
the chosen scene. Text can be added, as well as a stamp
and then the picture is emailed to friends or family
using addresses provided. Don't forget to bring your

The wireless network is compatible
with 11b and 11g devices. An RJ45 connection is also
available if your laptop is not equipped with a wireless
device. Laptop igloos
are provided on the deck to ensure your screen can be
seen clearly on sunny days (when isn't it sunny?).
Shadetree Computer Services is also

a great website entirely dedicated to the many faces
of San Felipe, Baja.
