President NietoThe Mexicali port of San Felipe, gateway to the Sea of ​​Cortez, will wear its best clothes on 16 April, when it will receive a visit from President Enrique Peña Nieto who will preside over an important ceremony to inaugurate boats especially equipped to safeguard marine fauna in the Sea of cortez, regarded by many as a body of water with the greatest biodiversity on Earth, with over 850 species of marine life making their home in its warm waters. Researcher Jacques Cousteau dubbed the sea "the world's aquarium".

In addition to the president and cabinet members, seven governors will preside at the affair, including those from Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa, and the host FRANCISCO VEGA LAMADRID, who is now in San Felipe to begin preparations for the presidential visit. During the ceremonies, governor KIKO VEGA will officially open the exhibition "The Giant Totaba of the Upper California Gulf", organized by the Autonomous University of Baja California.
